Miranda Kerr, born on April 20, 1983 in Sydney, is an Australian supermodel. Although she spent her early childhood in the countryside, her family moved to Brisbane to get the children accustomed to the city life. Soon after she won a modeling competition and appeared in a Dolly magazine bikini photo shoot that created a lot of stir due to her young age.Shortly after the incident, she was scouted by Chic Management modeling agency and represented several beachwear brands, giving her an exposure to land work in Europe and North America. After relocating to the Big Apple, she started appearing on the runway, representing such labels, as Baby Phat and Levi’s among others. Her career skyrocketed when she was signed to a Maybelline contract to appear in many print ads in Cosmopolitan, CEO, Elle, Vogue and many others.Her rise to the pinnacle of modeling came when she was selected to represent Victoria’s Secret and even became an Angel for the brand, working alongside such names as Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Izabel Goulart and Heidi Klum. This experience led Miranda to her first TV appearance in a show “How I Met Your Mother” where she appeared together with Marisa Miller, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, and Selita Ebanks.
